Elementary School Experience

I substitute taught for a semester in Geneseo's various elementary schools (Millikin, Southwest, and Northside). The majority of my experience was in Millikin's K-2 SPED and three kindergarten rooms. 

I taught elementary school Sunday School for a semester while at the Macomb Wesley United Methodist Church. I taught some hand chimes as well as various biblical lessons through a variety of activities and media. I both co-taught and individually taught these classes.

I completed my block teaching assignment at Lincoln Elementary School in Macomb. I taught 2nd grade general music, accompanying the class on piano for vocal warm-up songs, teaching Orff instrument lessons on improvisation, and leading movement-to-music activities.
